Debate Club

Aim :- Debate Club’s aim is to empower students with the skills of expressing their beliefs clearly and concisely, public speaking and effective communication in a formal setting and staying aware of current events in the world.

Nature of Debate Club activities

• To provide a significant training ground for the development of students communicative abilities.
• To provide opportunities for students to practice and share their skills development.
• To create learning situations in which students develop proficiencies based on sound educational and communication theories.
• To provide judges who will make judgement based on educational objectives and offer a critique which help students achieve them.

Activities of Debate Club (2019-20)

• Debate club of Sree Narayana College for Women has organised Debate on the topic "Challenges faced by Women in the society to chase their freedom" on 7th July, 2019
• Debate organised on the Topic "Youth and Antinationalism" on 14th February 2020.
