The 'Mahasamadhi' of our patron saint is observed on 20 September every year (Malayalam month Kanni 5). Every year our college observes the death anniversary of our saint and seer Sree Narayana Guru. The students and teachers of the department of Music sing bhajans and verses composed by the Guru. Talks about Guru's immense contribution in the social and cultural domains are organized in order to educate the new generation about the teachings and principles of the greatest visionary in Kerala. Every year "Annadhanam" is organized on the Samadhi day and over hundreds of poor and needy people are fed on that day.
