Nature Club

Aim :- To sensitize, motivate and educate students and staff about environment conservation. To create awareness among society about environment and related issues. Organizing activities to reduce pollution in the district. Encouraging efforts to protect and conserve biodiversity in vicinage.

Motto :- We also provide the platform for students to explore their love and care for nature as well as training them to make aware about the environmental harms and its importance among the society in which they have to create their future. So we conclude our motto as "Preserve Nature Secure Future"

Nature of activities of Nature Club

• Develop service-oriented activities which integrate environmental and social concerns and to take action on such issues.
• Integrate discussions for sustainable Environment into the curriculum.
• Provide programs and arrange speakers which will motivate the community in general and the students in particular.
• Provide a platform for the student members of the club to participate in its nature awareness and social activities.
• Organizing various eco-friendly activities.
• Organizing workshops and seminars on environment concern issues

Activities of Nature Club

• Planting and nurturing of trees and medicinal plants on the campus, labeling of plants etc.
• Observing environmentally important days like World Ozone day, World Forestry day, World Water day, World Environment day etc by displaying banners
• Motivate students to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation, sources separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.
• Sensitize the students to minimize the use of plastic bags, not to throw them in public places as they choke drains and sewers, cause water logging and provide breeding ground for mosquitoes.
• Organize tree plantation programs, awareness programs such as Quiz, Essay etc.
• The club has also arranged a nature camp and a trip to Ashramam kandalkadu.
