Department of Geography

     The Department of Geography was established in 2014. It was started as an undergraduate course with a batch of 12 students. Currently the department offers BSc course in Geography with Geography as core and Geology and Statistics as subsidiaries. The department has two well qualified faculties inspiring and encouraging their students in all academic and co-curricular activities. The department has a well equipped laboratory teemed with survey of India Toposheets, Weather maps, GPS etc. There are also a number of survey equipments like chain, plain table, Dumpy levels, Clinometers, Prismatic compasses etc. Geology lab has various rock and mineral specimens. The students are trained to use the instruments and GIS software as part of their curriculum. The students of the department from its very inception have been bringing laurels to the college in the form of university ranks and also with their active participation in arts and sports.
