Theatre Club

Aim :- The theatre club is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theatre. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, costumes/makeup design etc. The club very actively conducts workshops and seminars by eminent resource persons and the creativity and acting skills of the students are tested.

Seminar on Nadankalayum Nattarivukalum

A seminar was conducted by theatre club, SN College for Women, Kollam on 11.06.2019. Dr.R.Geethadevi Assistant Professor, Sree Sankaracharya University Thiruvananthapuram regional centre presented a paper on Nadan kalayum Nattarivukalum.

Discussion on films

Theatre club conducted a discussion on a national award winning film 'Perariyathavar' and on the film 'Vaisali' on 14.10.2019. Mr.G.Reghunathan Pillai Assistant Professor, University College, Thiruvananthapuram was the moderator. Fifth semester students participated in the discussion.
