ENABLING COMMITTEE (PWD)

The main objective with which the Enabling Committee of our college works is in sensitising the students on the condition of disability and in promoting justified equality. The Committee stresses on support empowerment to the differently-abled students and for students from the disadvantaged groups by means of welfare remedial classes and skill enhancement workshops. It has also been influential in facilitating provisions such as computers with wi-fi connection, self-study books and CDs on various subjects with the commitment of empowering differently-abled and economically backward students. The Enabling Committee has also been instrumental in organizing and conducting numerous seminars, talks and workshops on topics such as marginalisation and conquering disability in an effort to spread a word of awareness to the students and public at large on the issues related to differently-abled persons.

The Enabling Committee aims to continue its effort in bringing equal opportunities to differently abled students at par with the privileged ones by encouraging them to participate in various activities both in college and outside and plans to spread more empathetic awareness in the society through their outreach programmes.
