Webinar on "Autoimmunity and Antimicrobial Response Factors"

In connection with the International Webinar series CROSS ROADS -2020 organized in Sree Narayana College for Women, Kollam in association with the the Departments and college IQAC, Department of Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology hosted the Webinar entitled "Autoimmunity and Antimicrobial Response Factors" on 27/07/2020 at 11.00 am using Google meet platform. The resource person was Dr. Prathapan A., Post Doctoral research Associate, Department of Surgery-Transplant, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE, USA. The webinar commence with the teaser of the college, followed by the welcome speech and introduction of resource person by the Department Head Ms. Remya A.S. The interactive and informative presentation by Dr. Prathapan made the webinar an interesting one with 180 participants comprising of teachers from various colleges, University Departments, research scholars and students from India, USA, Canada and Dubai which made this webinar truly international. He detailed the etiology and pathophysiology associated with antibody response with reference to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus [SLE]. The presentation was followed by an interactive section which enabled the participants to clear and clarify doubts regarding the research on antibody response.
