The resource person of the day was Dr. Nisha Sheen, Professor (Part time), Department of Community Services St. Lawrence College, Ontario, Canada. She is also a research collaborator in the field of ageing at Carleton University,Ottawa,Canada.

Ms. Tilsa S Lucas of II PG – Resource Person. First she gave a presentation regading the components of Terrarium and the She gave a detailed step by step demonstration of its preparation. A terrarium (plural: terraria or terrariums) is usually a sealable glass container containing soil and plants, and can be opened for maintenance to access the plants inside.

Thwasthra – a creative power Ecofriendly products

The PG students and the teachers of our department made many eco friendly products and conducted Exhibition cum sale. This was an initiative as a part of one of the Best practice of our department. The products made included. paper cover, paper envelop, cloth bag, cloth zip pouches of various size, purses of various sizes made from thread (crocheting), table cloth ( various size), embroidered curchief, bottle art etc.
