Nature club and the Departmentt of Botany celebrated the International Day for the preservation of Ozone Layer by organising various programs like Quiz competition on environmental issues, planting mangrove saplings at Ashtamudi, one day seminar on Green Chemical Healing of Ozone Layer & a documentary show on Save the Ozone Canopy.

World Wetlands Day Celebrations 2019

The Nature Club in asso. with the Department of Botany and Encon and Biodiversity Clubs organized the World Wetlands Day Celebrations on 1st, 4th and 5th of February 2019, inaugurated by the Honourable Kollam Mayor Adv. Rajendra Babu. The Event was sponsored by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE). As part of the event a seminar on "Our Wetlands: Valued or Wasted" was organized. Dr. Renjan Mathew Varghese, State Director, WWF delivered the Keynote Address. The session was chaired by our respected Principal Dr. K. Anirudhan.
