Title: Behavioural Finance : Understanding human Psychology in Personal Finance Date: 2 December 2022 Time: 10.30 -11.30pm Platform: Google meet Behavioral finance, a subfield of behavioral economics, proposes that psychological influences and biases affect the financial behaviors of investors and financial practitioners.. A webinar session on ": Behavioural Finance : Understanding human Psychology in Personal Finance” was organized by the department of commerce in association with the IQAC of the college as part of the International Webinar series ECLECTICS 2022 for diverse community comprising of students, research scholars , faculty members of other educational institution and industrial experts. The session started at 10.30 am. The convenor of the webinar session , Dr.Berny B Raj Asst Professor of Commerce made the welcome note. The Resource person of the session ,Dr.Nadia Shah presented the concept of Behavioural finance and explained the application of psychology to finance . The session was very insightful and informative. The presentation was followed by an interactive session with hundreds of participants .The meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks by the student representative Ms.Pallavi S (II B.com) .
